Of all the Hollywood Sign viewing sites, this one might be the most popular. Located in Lake Hollywood Estates, this location offers a playground, dog-friendly open field, picnic tables, spacious observation area, and postcard views of Los Angeles.

Across from the observation area (upper dirt plateau), there’s a hidden hiking trail that leads you down to the lake / Hollywood Reservoir. Look for the two yellow Dead End signs – walk between them and go down the driveway (bottom row photos). You’ll find the trailhead to the right of the white wall.
