An admirable, overlooked museum directly across from the LA Zoo, dedicated to the art, history, and cultures of the American West.

Many people may assume the Autry Museum is about entertainer Gene Autry, but it’s not – far from it. Throughout its 2 floors of impressive exhibition space, you’ll see authentic wagons, clothing, firearms, artifacts, furniture, educational areas, murals, and much more. Additionally, downstairs & outside there’s a really neat & unique ‘ethnobotanical‘ garden with a roaring waterfall.

Entrance fee is $14 for adults and $6 for children ages 3 to 12. AAA members receive 10% off adult admission.
