Wow – what a workout. These secret, sky-scraping stairs will definitely get your heart pumping!

Aim for the address above, but continue down Calabasas Road a little further till it ends. About a hundred yards before the dead end look for two telephone poles by the yellow safety bollards; that’s where the path starts. Then, at the top of the paved slope, make a right onto the dirt trail and another right up ahead at the fork. From there it will be fairly easy to find the base of the stairs; about a 15 minute hike from the street. Upon arrival, take a couple deep breaths and start stepping. Your ascent will be rewarded with a wonderfully scenic, pasture-valley view.

All-in-all, an absolutely worthwhile adventure that will unquestionably restore your affection for the outdoors.

UPDATE (1/7/2021): Please be advised – parking enforcement is now ticketing vehicles parked along Calabasas Road. This has not been the case in years past, so it could either be a Covid-related issue or new thing moving forward. Was not able to reach an enforcement official for clarification.
