Address: 901 E 3rd St, Downtown LA, CA
A contemporary, creative arts complex in Downtown LA with large industrial art galleries, a gorgeous courtyard restaurant, celebrated bookstore, chicken pen, and more.
Hauser & Wirth LA is located in the heart of Downtown LA’s Art District, inside an old 1898 commercial building once home to Globe Grain & Milling Company. Entrance is free (no reservations required), and parking is available curbside via valet or street-side at a meter.
At the building’s entrance is its distinguished bookstore Artbook, as well as Hauser’s South Gallery (2 floors). A little further into the building is its revered restaurant Manuela – a rustic-chic, ultimate lunch & brunch spot serving seasonal soul food sourced from the “best farms and producers in Southern California”. Past Manuela’s you’ll see Hauser’s affluent-chic boutique, as well as the space’s sleek open courtyard, separate garden area with a chicken coop (@chicksofmanuela), and several North galleries with revolving exhibits.
