A pulse-pumping, power walk through nature – looping up and around the foothills of Studio City.

The 60 minute, moderately challenging hike begins in the Fryman Canyon parking lot off Laurel Canyon – less than a mile south of Ventura Blvd. The trailhead elevates immediately from the start, then gradually tapers off to a more leisurely gradient, followed by a lengthy downhill “cool down” on both soil and neighborhood streets.

The trail is manageable for most – including “stroller moms”, active elders, kids, joggers, talkative tandems, and dogs.

FYI – this is a super popular spot for locals, so for parking purposes either come early or on a weekday.

…and fun fact – toward the end of the walk, you’re going to pass the house that was used as the Kardashian’s home during early seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (11947 Iredell St – see video below).
